FAQs

Answers to your questions

If you start ironing clothes, you can do it yourself at home. The basis is a good steam iron. To avoid damaging the clothes, it is necessary to set the correct temperature of the iron according to the material. If you only have a dry iron, you will still need a wet cloth or towel. When ironing with a dry iron over a towel, you can increase the temperature by a few degrees, but it is important to keep the towel still wet. Spread your clothes on the ironing board and iron on the back with the steam setting set. It starts with the bottom layer. We iron from the edge to the dividing seam of the corset and skirt.
If we don't get to the seam, we steam this part at the end of ironing. In this way, we iron around each layer gradually from the inner to the outer.
If the corset is decorated, we slowly steam the warehouses and decorations. Using the tip of the iron, slowly and carefully iron the folds. Finally, we hang the dress on a hanger. Let them hang in space and high enough.

How to properly iron a wedding dress?

How to wash clothes properly (alone)?

Ideally, soak cold or lukewarm water in the tub and add the recommended dose of detergent for delicate fabrics. Stir the water thoroughly to make sure that the detergent has completely dissolved, and only then put the clothes in the tub.
Gently squeeze the dress several times and then let it rest in a water bath for about 15 minutes. If the clothes are more soiled, leave them soaked longer, or if they have stains, gently rub a special stain remover or liquid detergent into them. Once the clothes are clean, rinse them in newly soaked water and gently squeeze to remove the rest of the detergent.
Avoid violent twisting and squeezing. Squeeze the water gently from the dress. You can then place the dress on an absorbent towel, roll it together and press it several times. After unpacking, let the clothes dry so that they dry evenly, preferably underlaid with a towel and placed, for example, on a clothes dryer or hung on a hanger.

If you are afraid to start cleaning yourself, take your clothes to a dry cleaner's. Our salon also offers this option (average price for cleaning is around 800 CZK)
